This project asked participants to arrange EVERYTHING in the room in order of colour. I developed this project in order to:
- Think about the role of survival as an artist and colour being essential to both my practice and life.
- Create an activity that made use of the whole space and all its contents.
- Place emphasis on the objects we all brought and to shift away from their usual function, role or value. Placing emphasis on the objects becoming equal, classified and arranged via the visual and through the collaborative process.
- Investigate the idea of arranging as a process for making.
