MAPPING AS A PROCESS
----- Claire Robertson
This project was given the starting points of mapping, direction and navigation.
I developed a list of instructions that asked the group to document their interactions and observations in the urban landscape. Each artist was asked to document the journey through their own means (be it through note taking, drawing or photographing). Performing as ourselves (artists) in the urban landscape, we navigated the streets outside the gallery, the documentation itself eventually determining the direction rather being mere evidence.
