This project was given books as its starting point. The group was asked to recreate an art work or image of an art work by Francis Alÿs, Martin Creed and Cy Twombly (the three art books I brought with me in my survival pack) using materials within the gallery. The activity focused on collaboration, visual outcomes and questioned the influence of other artists on our own art practice. There were some specific stipulations and directions when remaking each work:

There were some specific stipulations and directions when remaking each work:
- Martin Creed's ascending cactus work (work no.960) was selected based on the relationship the work had with both a small cactus I had brought with me and similar pot plants identified on the balcony at DPS.
- The Francis Alÿs work had to be recreated outside the gallery space.
- The Cy Twombly work was open.
